Chris Cogburn

Chris is the manager of Sustainable Crop Insurance Services (SCIS) and licensed in five states – Colorado, Kansas, Oklahoma, New Mexico, and Texas. SCIS is a wholly-owned subsidiary of the National Sorghum Producers (NSP). Chris also acts as Strategic Business Director of NSP. Prior to his work with SCIS and NSP, Chris farmed wheat and sorghum in the Texas Panhandle for 15 years as well as consulted on precision agriculture and grain storage projects. He and Amy, his wife, have two boys, ages 12 and 10.
